Real Voices, Real Insights

We're all about truly understanding people. Right here in Wyoming, we've built a place where real conversations happen. With our trusted local network, we connect with folks in rural areas, voices often unheard, to get to the heart of what matters. Our focus groups gather honest, in-depth insights that go beyond just numbers.

Qualitative Methods of Data Collection

Besides in-person focus group hosting and moderation, WHR has other qualitative methods for data collection such as:

In-depth Interviews

Detailed, one-on-one conversations to get a deeper understanding of an individual's experiences and perspectives. Commonly used to understand the personal experiences of niche groups, hard-to-reach and small populations, to investigate sensitive topics, to explore uncharted phenomena, and to build theory.

Executive Interviews

A specialized type of in-depth interview for gathering information from high-level executives. Oftentimes used in intelligence gathering for strategy, business development, and growth planning. It gathers market trends, competitive insight, future scenarios, partnership tactics, and best practices.

Usability Studies

The organized examination of how a particular group engages with a product or system to identify and address issues while enhancing its strengths.

Ethnographic Research

Gathering insights in situ when the organic nature of social environments is necessary, such as in a hospital or workplace. They are most relevant when behavior matters more than just asking them what they think. This helps understand actions and their motivations in context and also bypassing personal image and group biases..
